Duniya Housing Program is a goal oriented approach to providing housing refugees. Duniya House was our first community housing center which provided a home to 58 refugees! During their time at the Duniya Housing Program, residents work on goals to help them transition to longer-term housing and start rebuilding their lives!

General Needs Fulillment Program

Providing holistic support is an important value for us. We recognize that a person main need may not always be housing. We created the General Needs Fulfillment program to address this concern. The program allows individuals to request financial support for general and emergency needs. People have requested assistance for medical expenses, food, legal fees, and new-born baby supplies.

Language Education and Development Program

There are many programs that provide social assistance to refugees and migrants in Athens and beyond. However, initiatives that ensure refugee self-sufficiency and create employment opportunities are few and hard to come by. The Language Education and Development Program (LEAD) was created by Finding Refuge to address this gap.

LEAD connects unemployed, Arabic-speaking refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers in Greece with students interested in learning Arabic.
